Grateful Friday

Me and Rocky
Today I'm grateful for lots of things but I'm going to list only one thing:
Rocky, because I lost him today, in the forest, for about 5 minutes. I was terrified, and screaming, and crying, and completly lost it. Thank you Trish for finding him, and staying level headed. It was 5 minutes I will probably never forget.

Oh my gosh, I know that was the longest five minutes of your life. Glad everything turned out okay. Those boys keep us on our toes, huh?

omgsh, I know that must've been terrrible. I lost Z at the mall 2 weeks ago, and it was about 5 minutes, and G found him, so I don't even know exactly what he'd been doing. I just know all along I wanted to scream, but felt disbelief, and- no way, this couldn't possibly be happening. Terrible feeling! I relate.

You're welcome. To quote Rache "we were scared. but every little thing was okay because he got unlost after we screamed rocky. we should put a buzzer on him or tie the baby to the bench. but it's okay, its okay now." We love you here and hope you'll come back soon. We won't lose him ever again, I promise.

I had a similar experience. It is horrendous, isn't it??

So glad that he is back safely in your arms.

oh sweet mom that you are....those 5 minutes must have felt like 5 hours to you.....
and it happened to me years ago and I will never forget it...as it's right there with all the other scary, bad and of course happy things I'll never let go off...
I call all those "little days" chapters and each and everyone happens for a reason...

{but oh I know how your heart skipped a few beats in those terrifying minutes}
