Colorful

wardorbe for today
We are having a colorful morning. Literally. I walked into the bathroom about an hour ago with Stella and caught a glimpse of myself and laughed. Really I am an explosion of color. I laughed and grabbed the camera. So this will be what I wear all day. Apron included. As most days go, I grab moments to chop throughout the day. Today I'm trying out a yeasted coffee cake recipe. So far though the dough has been sitting about 2 hours and has barley risen. What's with that? not sure. But I'll give it another hour and carry on with the recipe and see what happens.
my blender broke :(
My blender jar broke this morning. I was sad. Really sad. Luckily I had already mixed up my pad thai sauce in it for lunch before I cracked it in the sink. But my morning green smoothie did not happen. sad I am. Anyway, I've been playing peek-a-boo with Rocky in the cupboards he's emptyed and been helping Jack find spider stickers as he sits on the middle of our dinning room table. That's right ON. And well Stella, lets just say I've dressed more than one polly pocket this morning. Wish me luck on the coffee cake. Have a good day.

seriously...what's with the polly pocket clothing? i have a hard time shimmy-ing those stickish rubbery clothes up and down her body- how do they expect the wees ones to manage it?

i love checking in here- wish i could have a piece of that cake with you!
