Grateful Friday

flower in our garden
- Burts Bee's apricot baby oil. It smells so good, and is helping with Rocky's horrible cradle cap.
- Two of my favorite magazines came in the mail yesterday Blueprint and Domino.
- I finished MiddleSex, and even though the end snuck up on me and I was a little surprised with how the story turned out I really love that book.
- Mint oreos.
- Time alone in the library yesterday while John played with the kids.
- Loving reading this over at Soulemama's blog. I'm inspired to make a chainsaw for the kids now.
- Our garden is growing.
- Hearing Stella call "James and The Giant Peach" "Jack and the Wild Beach".
- John walked out of the kitchen last night with a plate of cheese and crackers and 2 glasses of wine and says "we're celebrating". "We are?" I asked. " Yea, it's Thursday!!" he said. Yea for Thursday!!
- Excited to hear Tori Amos's new CD. I got chills watching her sing one of the songs over at amazon.

James and the Giant Peach is my favorite children's book ever. Yeah, that Middlesex....the ending snuck up on me too. Didn't you love how she named her brother? I cracked up at that.

I forgot about Burt's Bees apricot oil - that is some divine stuff.

Have a happy weekend.

The photography on your blogs are simply amazing. I'll have to keep a closer watch on your blogs from now on.

Well, this is getting long, so I'll end it here. I love you Sis, and pray for continued blessings upon you and your family.
