Life's been a bit crazy with my three, it's been hard for me to spend much time on the computer. I miss Sacramento, life here is beginning to settle in though. I went to a play group last week for local moms. I knew no one there and felt awkward, but the people were so nice, and Jack and Stella loved playing, so I'll think I'll try to make some friends there. There is church too. I'm trying to make some connections there but it just slow going. I've never been in a completely new place were I have to make friends, it's making me go a lot outside my comfort zone. Maybe being 34 will be all about pushing myself, making my self grow as a new mom, in a new town, with new friends.

Happy Birthday Heather,
My heart goes out to you as you share the feelings of starting out anew somewhere.
Give yourself credit for just getting out there and trying.
Great pic of you and Rocky!!
Best,
Vickie
You look so pretty in the photo with Rocky! Happy Birthday and good for you for going to the new play group and pushing yourself to try new situations, even if it's not so comfortable. Sounds like a terrific birthday weekend.
Happy Birthday. Enjoy your new place and just put yourself out there. I've read enogh on your blog to know that you're a great friend to anyone.
Happy Birthday Heather.
Happy Birthday, Heather!
I feel ya. I felt the same way when we moved to Atlanta. The playgroup will be good, definitely. At least you'll be around other mommies and can get the dirt on local kids activities and places to take them. You'll probably outgrow the group later on (I did), but I bet it will be a lifesaver during these first few months.
Happy 34th, Heather! You look so young in the picture, about 17 to me. Sounds like your birthday festivities were fun.
happy birthday Heather,
and that photo of you and Rocky is just beautiful.
Happy Birthday, Heather!
Love the picture! Just wonderful!
Happy Belated Birthday, Heather! Sorry I'm so late to the party (work got crazy lately and I've just caught up on your posts). You look GORGEOUS for 34 or any age. Rock on, Mama!
