an afternoon

Yesterday we took our lunch to a mountainside and ate. It was warm and there were hills to climb to get there. There was some complaining from the little princess but we made it up, found our tree and lunched.

The kids explored tall grasses and strange trees.

We soaked up the warm sun, smelled the grass, and enjoyed lots of quite time. Finally miss Stella said she had had enough of the great outdoors and drove us all nuts until we reluctantly packed up our stuff and headed home. Today we are headed to the farmers market to do a little shopping and meet up with some friends. I wish you all a happy Tuesday.

Master photographer! I love to see friends out and about in our beautiful hills. To me it is one of the nicest things about where we live.

Much better place than your living room to spend a nice day.
