- I'm grateful for 11 months of the most kissable baby boy. I can't believe he is almost a year now.
- Finally finding, after 1o months of living here, a kids consignment store right by my house.
- A super fun Halloween. We went with a group of 15 or so kids, it was a lot of fun to see the surprised faces of people when they opened thier door. It made me smile when one lady flung her door open, camera in hand and captured the moment all the kids yelled trick-or-treat for her husband who wasn't home.
- The ending of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". That last scene, so creepy the best part of the whole movie for me.
- Candy: Almond Joy, dark chocolate, peanut butter cups.
- Taking down the halloween decorations, getting ready for Thanksgiving.
- John's job and that I can stay home with the kids.
- John calming me down during earthquakes. Even if it's just a jolt I get a little freaked and disoriented. We had a slightly bigger one last week. I started panicking, screamed a little, John talked me down, told me what was happening (for some reason I always think a car has hit our house). John is good in panick situations.
- Rocky is sleeping more at night.

Rocky is unbelievably cute. He reminds me so much of John M., in the way that his coloring seems to have changed from when he was born to now.
Your candy faves look like two of mine and one of my daughter's. Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend.
I can't believe it's been almost a year either, and I only read your blog !!
Can't wait to hold my own little newcomer into the world. I hope s/he's as sweet as Rocky...
P.S. - Living in America would be too much for me, I think - the Hallow'een followed by Thanksgiving, followed by Christmas thing - too much, too soon.
I think i would need a brown paper bag to breathe into, even though on another level, I think I would just love it too ....
It takes me 3 months to mentally prepare myself for Christmas alone !! :)
I love Rocky's sweater -- adorable!
rocky is too cute!
and i know i have said this
before,
(maybe even last week?)
but i am always grateful
for your
grateful friday list
;)
Hi Heather, sorry I've been AWOL. Trying to catch up with everyone today. I always love your posts...because they're always full of such goodness and gratitude for life. Can't believe Rocky's 11 months already...or that you moved 10 months ago already. Sounds like life is good...hope so. Take care.
Beautiful reflection! I, too often, forget to be thankful that I can stay home with the kids. I remember it being such a big decision for us trying to figure out how it will all work out.
Thanks for reminding me to be thankful.
11 months old already???? really???
