This picture is of a puddle I found that had iced over up in the mountains last week.
- Listening to old Portishead cd's.
- A comercial on PBS that made me cry. Cindy Lauper singing "True Colors" while clips of cute kids flipped by, and in the end Mr. Rodgers huging Big Bird. This commercial made me so happy I cried.
- John's Aunt Rene showing me how to knit.
- Hearing that Pj Harvey is coming out with a new album.
- John is home today.
- Hearing Stella sing, and watching her dance.
- Playing baseball in the back yard with the kids.
- Meeting really nice people in my homeschool playgroup.
- Coffee in the morning.
- Bright sunny cold mornings.
- A fun Halloween party yesterday.
- Hot chocolate with Peppermint schnapps

Your grateful list is so nice and fallish today. Have a great weekend, Heather!
hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps sounds delightful. and i adore portishead - i should listen to them right now, their soulful sound would be perfect for this gloomy friday evening.
this is such an interesting pic...very cool...
LOVE the picture!!! It's still too warm here (Georgia) to even think about hot chocolate. I'm sad that we aren't really having a fall season this year...enjoy it for me!
i absolutely love
and always look forward to
your grateful lists...
and that photo is too cool!
:)
Incredible picture. It's hard to believe that somewhere in California there is a frozen puddle - this may be the warmest Halloween we've had in a long time. Congrats on learning to knit.
Looks like a perfect photo to frame, maybe above the fireplace. It has that fall/winter feel.
I also think you should post your pics at a more visible photo site, like PBase.com You have hidden a talent.
oops...."You have ..a.. hidden talent."
that commercial gets me every time...especially the slow "like a raaaaainbow" part.
Cool picture, literally :).
My SIL is teaching me how to crochet. Knitting is next on my list.
Hi, just found your blog and had to say I'd forgotten about Portishead and how much I loved them! Thanks for the reminder! (love the embroidery too by the way, looks very neat!)
Stunning pic ~ thanks for sharing :O)
That picture is AMAZING !!
We don't see any ice or snow around our parts unless we travel to see it especially !!
Love your grateful lists.. they always make me feel grateful in turn. I should do them myself...
That is the coolest photo!!
